Overview

Bisbee's flagship October marlin tournament in Cabo San Lucas, widely billed as the richest fishing tournament in the world.

The Black & Blue is the marquee event of the Bisbee's series, run out of Cabo San Lucas since the early 1980s. Teams fish three days for black and blue marlin (300 lb minimum to weigh) with release points and gamefish categories layered on top through a large optional-jackpot structure; the 2025 purse exceeded $11.5 million.

Registration and the weigh station are at Puerto Paraiso Mall on the Cabo marina, with a shotgun start off the arch each morning. Live scoring and payouts run on CatchStat.
