Overview
Port Aransas's 90-year-old multi-division tournament with offshore and billfish-release divisions, headquartered at the Port Aransas Civic Center.
Billed as the oldest fishing tournament on the Texas coast, the Deep Sea Roundup is run by the Port Aransas Boatmen and fields bay, surf, kayak, fly, junior and offshore divisions plus billfish and tarpon release divisions with item-of-the-day verification. Offshore boats fish Friday and Saturday with 7 p.m. weigh-in deadlines at the Civic Center.
The 90th edition ran July 9–12, 2026 with Thursday registration and captain's meeting, two offshore fishing days and Sunday awards; scoring runs on Custom Tournament Solutions.
