Overview
Multi-day billfish release and gamefish tournament run by the Hatteras Village Civic Association out of Hatteras Harbor Marina each May.
The Hatteras Village Offshore Open is a community-run billfish tournament fished from Hatteras Village on the southern Outer Banks. Boats fish three of four days (Wednesday-Saturday) with billfish release levels plus gamefish and biggest-blue-marlin categories.
The 2026 tournament was the 32nd annual, May 12-16, with registration and the captains' meeting at the Hatteras Civic Center. The event is part of the NC Billfish Series.
