Overview
Family-friendly offshore release tournament run by the Presidential Challenge Charitable Foundation out of Marina Flamingo on Costa Rica's northern Pacific coast.
The Presidential Flamingo Fishing Rodeo is the Presidential Challenge Charitable Foundation's Costa Rica event, fished from Marina Flamingo in Guanacaste. The 2026 edition was the 11th rodeo, with Offshore and Non-Sonar Offshore divisions ($1,400 per team), a mandatory rules meeting, two fishing days and an awards gala, plus a FECOP conservation workshop.
Eligible species are all billfish plus dorado, tuna and wahoo; the event emphasizes local charter captains and conservation/education fundraising.
