Inaugural release-only billfish invitational out of Port Aransas (Sip Yard / Station Street Pier) fished August 14–16, 2026.
A new release-only billfish tournament launched in 2026 by Texas Billfish Tournaments LLC and based at the Sip Yard in Port Aransas. Boats compete for points (blue marlin 300, white marlin/spearfish 150, sailfish 100) within 100 nm of the South Jetty, with every release documented on video with the object of the day.
The first edition ran August 14–16, 2026 with Thursday registration and captain's meeting, an 11 a.m. Friday lines-out from Station Street Pier and Sunday-night awards and concert; live scoring was on CatchStat.
