Overview

46th-annual, 50-boat-limit king mackerel tournament run by the Swansboro Rotary Club in mid-October, fishing two of three days with a six-figure top prize.

The Swansboro Five-O is the Swansboro Rotary Club's fall king mackerel tournament (the club also runs the Memorial Day Bluewater tournament). The field is capped at 50 boats; the 2026 site reports the cap was reached with a waiting list. The 2025 winner, Double Down, took home $112,240.

Teams fish two of three days (Thursday-Saturday) with lines in at 8 AM, scales opening at 4 PM at the Saltwater Grill in downtown Swansboro, and an awards party with a free concert on Saturday night. A 50/50 dolphin TWT supports NC LEAP.
